About me

Hi, I’m Jen! Your German teacher who lives everywhere.

I was born in Germany, grew up between different cultures, and somewhere between Frankfurt, Russia, Barcelona and the world, I realized that home isn’t a place, but a feeling.

Now I teach German online while traveling full-time. My students log in from everywhere and so do I!

My journey

I have a degree in Translation and Interpretation because I’ve always been obsessed with languages. I speak eight of them, and that’s how I understand what it’s like to learn one: the frustration, the excitement, the “why does German have three articles?!” moments.

After teaching hundreds of students, I realized that the best lessons are not the perfect ones, but the real ones. The ones where you laugh, learn something about culture, and suddenly notice: I can actually speak German.
